Architectural Tours - NYC

For years Vladimir Belogolovsky, an architect, writer, architectural lecturer, and curator of international architectural exhibitions shared his love for modern architecture with many of his friends visiting New York City from all over the world. Now his engaging stories about architects, buildings, architectural styles, and urban visions of New York can be experienced by anyone who is interested in learning about rich and fascinating culture of architecture. The format of our walks is welcoming, accessible, and inclusive. Vladimir has been giving architecture walking/driving tours in various neighborhoods of New York, as well as in nearby towns to small groups of architects and anyone who is interested in architecture. These tours take anywhere from 1.5 h. to a full day and can be adjusted as needed. Please try to schedule your tour ahead of time as they are occasional and not at all systematic.

Trained as an architect at Cooper Union in New York (1996), Vladimir has published over 150 articles in American, European, and Russian publications, as well as several books on various architectural subjects. He is the US correspondent of Russian architectural journal TATLIN where he has his own bimonthly column NAME. He is also a frequent contributor to ArchNewsNow, a leading New York-based architectural news website. His article about New York City will be published in 2012 edition of Russian Government Encyclopedia.
